What We're Learning This Month

During the first week of May, we will finish up our Box unit and learning the letter X. The second week we will introduce our final letter, Q and the unit is Quick/Slow. We will dance, walk and color, both quick and slow. We will also read the story of the Tortoise and the Hare, a fun book about quick and slow. The third week will be a review week of the alphabet and its sounds. We will also be holding Parent/Teacher Conferences. The fourth week is our final week of school. We will continue reviewing our letters, and we will have our End-of-the-Year parties. Introducing each letter and letter sound has laid a firm foundation for each child's future learning.
